Basketball Recap: Army-Navy Comes Up Short

Army-Navy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They opened the new year with a less-than-successful 52-42 defeat to the Foothills Christian Knights. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 55-34.

Army-Navy's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Foothills Christian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-8.

Army-Navy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Oceanside at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Foothills Christian, they will challenge El Capitan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
