Softball Recap: Nashville's Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak at Home

Nashville won against Gibault Catholic on Friday with 12 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Hornets beat the Woodlawn Cardinals by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 12-4. This was payback for the Hornets, who suffered a 1-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Nashville's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-18. As for Woodlawn, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Nashville will host O'Fallon at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Woodlawn, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Goreville at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
