Recap: Davenport vs. Satellite
The Davenport Broncos and the Satellite Scorpions squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Davenport Broncos had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Scorpions. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Davenport couldn't quite close it out.
Something new happened on Friday as Alex Butler saw his first action of the season, playing 100 minutes against Davenport. Butler made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal. A few more games like that and he might be seeing even more time going forward.
Davenport's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 13-4-2. As for Satellite, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-1-6 record this season.
Davenport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Satellite, they will head out on the road to challenge Bishop Moore at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Satellite comes in on seven and Bishop Moore on 19.
