Basketball Recap: Stewart County Takes a Loss

Stewart County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 53-45 to the Trigg County Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 350th in Tennessee, while the Wildcats are ranked 92nd in Kentucky).

Stewart County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Trigg County, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Stewart County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-41 loss against Harpeth on the 13th. As for Trigg County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 100-35 defeat against Hopkins County Central on the 13th.
