Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Muskego walked away with it. They never let the Franklin Sabers get on the board and left with a 7-0 win on Thursday. Considering Muskego have won 12 matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory keeps Muskego at an undefeated 18-0-2. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those eight contests. As for Franklin, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6-3.

Coming up, Muskego will square off against Whitefish Bay on Saturday. Muskego will need to watch out since Whitefish Bay have now posted at least four goals in their last three games. Franklin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
