Baseball Recap: Osbourn Takes a Loss

Osbourn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They lost 17-0 to the Mount Vernon Majors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 4-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Osbourn's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Mount Vernon, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.

Looking ahead, Osbourn will face off against Unity Reed at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mount Vernon, they are taking a road trip to face off against Annandale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Majors are facing the Atoms at the right time seeing as the Atoms are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
