Kingfisher took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Bristow, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Yellowjackets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Pirates on Monday. Winning may never get old, but Kingfisher sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Kingfisher pushed their record up to 10-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those five contests. As for Bristow, they moved to 13-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coming up, Kingfisher will face off against Oologah at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oologah will roll in looking for their 16th straight win, something Kingfisher surely won't give up without a fight. Bristow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
