Volleyball Recap: Springfield Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Springfield lost against Cheraw back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Longhorns fell 3-1 to the Wolverines. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-9, 22-25, 25-14.

Cobi Mackey paced Springfield's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mackey got some help from Dakota Reid and her 13 assists. Tyler Mackey controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Springfield now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Cheraw, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Springfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Kim/Branson on the 23rd. As for Cheraw, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Swink on the 23rd.
