Baseball Game Preview: Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians vs. Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs

The Waterford-Halfmoon Fordians will take on the Berne-Knox-Westerlo Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Waterford-Halfmoon will bounce into Thursday's contest after beating Hoosic Valley, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Fordians walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Hawks on Wednesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Fordians.

The team relied heavily on Jason Fraim, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Meanwhile, Berne-Knox-Westerlo won against Mekeel Christian Academy on Monday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Wednesday. The Bulldogs came out on top against Loudonville Christian by a score of 10-6.

GG Lefkatditis was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two doubles, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted over his last nine games. Merrick Damin was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Waterford-Halfmoon's win bumped their record up to 3-16. As for Berne-Knox-Westerlo, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11-1.
