Devine dropped down to 3-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 73-53 to the Cornerstone Christian Warriors. If the Warhorses / Arabians were looking for revenge after losing 91-52 to the Warriors when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Cornerstone Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Makaden Weathington was nothing short of spectacular: he went 6-for-9 en route to 14 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. Those six assists gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Schonberg, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

Devine has already played their next game, an 88-40 defeat against Kinkaid on the 22nd. As for Cornerstone Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 55-45 loss against United South on the 22nd.
