Volleyball Recap: Grantsburg's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Grantsburg entered their tilt with Prescott on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cardinals. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ruby Rengo paced Grantsburg's offense, picking up 12 kills. Rengo got some help from Megan Harmon and her ten assists. Avery Kwolek controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Grantsburg's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Prescott, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Grantsburg will be taking part in a tournament against Bloomer at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Prescott, they will take on Baldwin-Woodville at 6:00 p.m. on September 4.
