Baseball Recap: Central Finds Home Field Redemption Against Minnechaug Regional

There's no place like home for Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They came out on top against the Minnechaug Regional Falcons on Wednesday by a score of 3-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). This was payback for the Golden Eagles, who suffered a 9-6 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Central's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Minnechaug Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central will square off against East Longmeadow at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
