Basketball Recap: North Branch Comes Up Short

After flying high against Algonac last Tuesday, North Branch came back down to earth. The North Branch Broncos received a blow on Friday as they fell 54-40 to the Armada Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

North Branch's defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Armada, they pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, North Branch will head out to take on Marine City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. North Branch is facing Marine City at the right time seeing as Marine City is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Armada, they will host Utica Eisenhower at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Utica Eisenhower will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Armada surely won't give up without a fight.
