Orangefield won the last time they faced Sabine Pass and Jaden Scales did his part to make sure it happened again. The Bobcats breezed past the Sharks to the tune of 81-47 on Saturday for which the team can thank Scales, who went 7-for-13 from beyond the arc en route to 49 points. The matchup was his eighth in a row with at least 16 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Kyran Morrow, who posted five points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games he's played.

Sabine Pass lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cohen Cole, who earned 19 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Devin Roberts, who had 17 points and five boards.

The win made it two in a row for Orangefield and bumps their season record up to 11-3. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 40.5 points. As for Sabine Pass, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-4 record this season.

Orangefield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 78-34 victory against Jasper on the 16th. As for Sabine Pass, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 50-43 win against Hull-Daisetta on the 16th.
