Basketball Recap: Raleigh Charter Comes Up Short

Raleigh Charter lost against NCSSM: Durham two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Raleigh Charter Phoenix were dealt a 76-40 defeat at the hands of the NCSSM: Durham Unicorns. The Phoenix were down 61-35 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Nikhil Nanduri was nothing short of spectacular for NCSSM: Durham: he went 8-for-16 en route to 25 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The dominant performance gave Nanduri a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Chris Chen, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 17 points and five assists.

This is the second loss in a row for Raleigh Charter and nudges their season record down to 3-13. As for NCSSM: Durham, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-8 record this season.
