Nobody could stop Abigail Cantu on Tuesday as she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her fifth in a row with less than two walks. For the season, she has been strong no matter where she plays. On the mound, she has an ERA of 4.96 over 24 innings pitched. Meanwhile, at bat she has slashed 0.478/0.500/0.783 with 11 RBI.

Looking ahead, Cantu and Palmview have the luxury of staying home for another game and will welcome Rio Grande City at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
