Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Garrison walked away with it. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over Corrigan-Camden on Thursday. Garrison might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by seven runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Riley McGuire, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base. Stryker Lloyd was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Garrison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. As for Corrigan-Camden, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-14-1.
