Softball Recap: Neptune Comes Up Short

Neptune lost against Henry Hudson back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Neptune fell 14-9 to Henry Hudson. The Scarlet Fliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sophia Forgach made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. Jordan Janulis was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Neptune's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Neptune will welcome Long Branch at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Henry Hudson, they will square off against Red Bank Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
