Soccer Game Preview: Moses Brown vs. Portsmouth

The Moses Brown Quakers will head out to square off against the Portsmouth Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Moses Brown will come into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.

Moses Brown is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Rhode Island's top teams: South Kingstown, who was ranked 17th at the time (Moses Brown was ranked second). The Quakers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Rebels on Tuesday. That's two games straight that Moses Brown have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Portsmouth was not quite East Providence's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Townies by a score of 1-0.

Moses Brown's win bumped their record up to 7-0-2. As for Portsmouth, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-6-2.
