Softball Recap: Cypress Springs Comes Up Short

Cypress Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Cypress Woods Wildcats, falling 16-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 back in March.

Cypress Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Cypress Woods, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-13-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cypress Springs will take on Waller at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cypress Woods, they will face off against Cypress Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matchups.
