Softball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Colleton County

Colleton County never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Lowcountry Leadership NaviGators. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Cougars this season.

Brooklyn Holmes was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and two runs. Those triples were her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Miller, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.

Colleton County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lowcountry Leadership only posted an OBP of .154.

The victory keeps Colleton County at an undefeated 4-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 13.5 runs this season. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Colleton County and Lowcountry Leadership will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. Colleton County will challenge rival Bluffton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lowcountry Leadership is set to face off against their familiar foe St. John's at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
