Basketball Recap: Noah Wright Key Part of Team Effort in Bulldogs Win

After losing to Lejeune the last time they met, Dixon decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs enjoyed a cozy 72-54 win over the Devilpups on Wednesday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Dixon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Wright, who shot 46% from the field en route to 20 points in addition to seven boards and six assists. Those six assists gave Wright a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Grady Adams, who posted 13 points along with seven assists and four steals.

The victory got Dixon back to even at 1-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dixon will challenge Heide Trask at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lejeune, they will head out to square off against Swansboro at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
