Softball Recap: Coral Gables Falls to Hialeah in First Game of Season

Coral Gables unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 15-0 to the Hialeah Thoroughbreds on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Thoroughbreds: they've now lost three in a row.

Coral Gables saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Celina Richardson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Coral Gables didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-4 defeat against Miami Beach on the 19th. As for Hialeah, they will head out to challenge American at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
