Softball Recap: East Bernard Comes Up Short

East Bernard and Lexington squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but East Bernard had to settle for second. They fell 6-1 to the Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss on Friday.

East Bernard saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abigail Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for East Bernard and nudges their season record down to 26-10. As for Lexington, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-8-2 record this season.

As of now, neither East Bernard nor Lexington have any future games scheduled.
