Monclova Christian Academy entered their tilt with Harvest Temple Christian Academy on Tuesday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 29-26 win over Harvest Temple Christian Academy. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 31-21 back in January.

Despite the defeat, Harvest Temple Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lily Stanford en route to 15 points and five steals. The dominant performance also gave Stanford a new career-high in field goal percentage (41%). Alivia Pethtel also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Monclova Christian Academy pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.7 points over those games. As for Harvest Temple Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-16.
