It's playoff time, and Patrick Henry had no trouble coming through when it counted. They never let the Santa Margarita Eagles get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Wednesday.

Patrick Henry pushed their record up to 22-10-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Santa Margarita, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 20-14.

Coming up, Patrick Henry will venture away from home to take on Crespi at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Celts' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Patriots' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Santa Margarita does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
