Softball Recap: St. Joseph Central Takes a Loss

St. Joseph Central lost against Tug Valley back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Irish fell 6-3 to the Panthers. The Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Joseph Central's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Tug Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Joseph Central will square off against Sherman at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Irish's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tide have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Tug Valley, they will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against East Ridge at 6:00 p.m.
