Volleyball Game Preview: Antonian Prep Apaches vs. Incarnate Word Shamrocks + How To Watch

Antonian Prep is a perfect 10-0 against Incarnate Word since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Apaches will take on the Shamrocks at 7:00 p.m. Antonian Prep will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Antonian Prep won the last time they faced Savio and Camilla Serna did her part to make sure it happened again. The Apaches were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles on Thursday thanks in part to Serna, who had 21 assists and six digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 17 or more in each of the last nine games she's played.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Antonian Prep was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-6, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Incarnate Word came up short against St. Michael's on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-20, 26-24.

Incarnate Word has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-23 record this season. As for Antonian Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 39-13.

Everything went Antonian Prep's way against Incarnate Word when the teams last played last Tuesday, as Antonian Prep made off with a 3-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Apaches since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
