Football Recap: Isle of Wight Academy Takes a Loss

Isle of Wight Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 39-0 loss at the hands of the Atlantic Shores Christian Seahawks. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 336th, while the Seahawks are ranked 160th).

Isle of Wight Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Atlantic Shores Christian, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Isle of Wight Academy nor the Seahawks have any future games scheduled.
