Softball Recap: Singer Comes Up Short

Singer lost to Starks back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hornets lost 17-7 to the Panthers. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hanna Johnson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Lilly Braneff, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

Singer's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Starks, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

Looking ahead, Singer will challenge Evans at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Starks, they will square off against Hackberry at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
