Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask AGWSR). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-53 victory over the Oelwein Huskies on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cougars as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

AGWSR's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-12. As for Oelwein, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. AGWSR has already played their next matchup (against Belmond-Klemme), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Oelwein has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against Wapsie Valley.
