Soccer Recap: Mountain Pointe Gets the Win

Mountain Pointe kept a clean sheet against Skyline on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Skyline Coyotes. This was payback for the Pride, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Mountain Pointe now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Skyline, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Mountain Pointe will be home for the holidays to greet Chandler at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain Pointe's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Skyline, they will head out to take on South Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
