Basketball Game Preview: Parkway West Longhorns vs. Fox Warriors

The Parkway West Longhorns are taking a road trip to square off against the Fox Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Parkway West is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Parkway West took a blow against Lindbergh, falling 69-40. While losing is never fun, the Longhorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 311th, while the Flyers are ranked 124th).

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Fox's strategy against McCluer South-Berkeley on Friday. Fox blew past McCluer South-Berkeley 63-41. The Warriors pushed the score to 52-31 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs had little chance of recovering from.

Fox has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 3-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Parkway West, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-16.
