The San Tan Charter Roadrunners will venture away from home to take on the Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as San Tan Charter comes in on 13 and Scottsdale Christian Academy on nine.
On Thursday, San Tan Charter earned a 6-2 win over Phoenix Country Day.

Braden Peasel made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run.
Peasel wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Bairyk Schulte, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run. Titus Csader also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, Scottsdale Christian Academy got themselves on the board against Madison Highland Prep on Thursday, but Madison Highland Prep never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 14-0 margin over the Heat. Considering the Eagles have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Like San Tan Charter, Scottsdale Christian Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Luke Troxell. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Troxell has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Hank Berg was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double. Trevor Green was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one run.
Scottsdale Christian Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .526. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
San Tan Charter's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-1. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.6 runs. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, their record is now 12-5.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. San Tan Charter has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .524. However, it's not like Scottsdale Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .504. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
San Tan Charter might still be hurting after the 24-0 loss they got from Scottsdale Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in March of 2022. Can the Roadrunners avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
