Recap: Lee Central Stallions vs. Hartsville Red Foxes
The Lee Central Stallions lost to the Hartsville Red Foxes last Saturday, but the Lee Central Stallions didn't allow the Hartsville Red Foxes the same satisfaction on Monday. Lee Central came out on top against Hartsville by a score of 61-53. The win made it back-to-back wins for Lee Central.
Lee Central found their leader in underclassman Kiauj Allen, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds and four steals. Jamisen Wilds was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Kayson Dawson and EJ Smith certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Dawson scored 12 points, while Smith scored ten points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of McCoy Harry, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Lee Central's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Hartsville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lee Central won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Marion at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Marion will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Hartsville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Florence at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. West Florence is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
