Basketball Recap: Centennial Takes a Loss

Centennial lost against Mansfield Timberview back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The matchup between the Centennial Spartans and the Mansfield Timberview Wolves didn't end well, with the Centennial Spartans falling 49-30.

Dani Milliner was the offensive standout of the game as she posted 11 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jada James, who had 11 points and six assists.

Centennial's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Mansfield Timberview, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Centennial will host Cleburne at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mansfield Timberview, they will head out to face off against Joshua at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Joshua will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Mansfield Timberview surely won't give up without a fight.
