Stroudsburg's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Pocono Mountain East on Friday. The Mountaineers came out on top in a nail-biter against the East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers, sneaking past 7-5. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 9-0 back in March.

The team relied heavily on Melissa Safin, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Elizabeth Molinaro, who went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases and one RBI.

Stroudsburg is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for East Stroudsburg South, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record this season.
