Basketball Game Preview: Spring Woods Tigers vs. Westbury Huskies

The Spring Woods Tigers will take on the Westbury Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Westbury will be up against a hot Spring Woods team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Spring Woods breezed by Galena Park to the tune of 75-43 on Friday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Westbury, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against Milby by a score of 58-50 on Saturday.

Spring Woods is also on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for Westbury, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-12.
