Basketball Game Preview: Benavides Eagles vs. San Perlita Trojans

Benavides hasn't had much luck against San Perlita recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Benavides Eagles will venture away from home to square off against the San Perlita Trojans at 6:30 p.m.

Last Monday, Benavides took a blow against San Isidro, falling 83-22. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, San Perlita couldn't have asked for a better start to 2025 than the 67-15 blowout they got against Bruni. That 52 point margin sets a new team best for the Trojans this season.

Benavides' loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for San Perlita, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-8.

Benavides was dealt a bruising 80-42 defeat at the hands of San Perlita in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Benavides avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
