Monticello fell victim to St. Anthony and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Sages' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 24-5. As for St. Anthony, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monticello will take on Clinton at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for St. Anthony, they will square off against Effingham at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
