The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 4-1 to Economedes. The match was a close 2-1 at the break, but unfortunately for the Bears it sure didn't stay that way.

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Edinburg North, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-2 record this season.

Edinburg North was able to grind out a solid victory over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo when the teams last played back in January, winning 3-1. Will Edinburg North repeat their success, or does Pharr-San Juan-Alamo have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
