Basketball Recap: IDEA Riverview's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

If IDEA Frontier College Prep wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played IDEA Riverview, they should've done a better job of containing Oziel Escobedo. The IDEA Riverview Rockets blew past IDEA Frontier College Prep 62-35 on Friday thanks in part to Escobedo, who posted 35 points. The game was his fourth in a row with at least ten points.

IDEA Riverview's victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-10. As for IDEA Frontier College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 2-19.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. IDEA Riverview will welcome Raymondville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Raymondville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58.5 points per game this season. As for IDEA Frontier College Prep, they will be playing at home against Progreso at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
