Softball Recap: Five Straight Home Wins for Richmond Hill

Richmond Hill proved they can win big last Friday (they won by nine) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Gompers Panthers 16-15.

Richmond Hill pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 19.6 runs over those games. As for Gompers, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.

Looking ahead, Richmond Hill will be playing in front of their home fans against Rustin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Rustin will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Richmond Hill surely won't give up without a fight. Gompers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
