Basketball Recap: Independence Takes a Loss

Independence lost against Memorial back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Independence Knights fell just short of the Memorial Warriors by a score of 55-52. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Independence's record is now 9-8. As for Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Independence will be taking part in a tournament against Anna at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Memorial, they will take on Coppell in a tournament on Friday. Memorial has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
