Where the 2012 MLB All-Stars went to high school

The eyes of the world will be on Kansas City's Kauffman Stadium tonight as the top stars from the American and National leagues do battle for home field advantage in the World Series.

MaxPreps takes a look at where each of the All-Stars went to high school. Note that some players are not from America, and also note that the school selections came courtesy of The Baseball Cube website. Not all players on the rosters are active.

Before we dive into the list, here are a few facts about the American-groomed players:

- California and Florida lead the way with 10 All-Stars each.
- Twenty-two states are represented on the list.
- Pennsylvania is No. 6 in population, but has no All-Stars.
- Nevada is the smallest state with a representative, as it ranks 35th in population.
