Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask LEAD Academy). They walked away with an 83-76 victory over the Wayne County Wildcats on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Despite the loss, Wayne County still got an impressive performance from Cayman Camfield, who went 7 for 12 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points along with five assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Sayler Skelton, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

LEAD Academy's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-11. As for Wayne County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-7 record this season.

LEAD Academy and Wayne County should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. LEAD Academy (ranked 164th) will meet Trousdale County (ranked 382nd) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Wayne County will take on Fayetteville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 201 places (163 vs. 364).
