Basketball Recap: Clayton Comes Up Short

Clayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 58-41 bruising from the Haileyville Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 63-45 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Clayton's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Haileyville, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-4.

Looking ahead, Clayton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Battiest at 8:00 a.m. on Friday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.25 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Haileyville, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Whitesboro at 8:00 p.m. on December 2.
