Alleghany waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Radford Bobcats 17-1. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by nine runs or more this season.

Alleghany's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Radford, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Looking ahead, Alleghany will head out to face off against Patrick County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Alleghany 3.3, Patrick County 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Radford, they will welcome Blacksburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
