After a string of four wins, Hillcrest's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Kaufman Lions by a score of 2-1.

Hillcrest now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Kaufman, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillcrest will welcome Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kaufman, they will face off against Sunnyvale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
