Blessed Trinity had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Marist War Eagles 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Titans also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

Sawyer Straley and Maddie Campbell certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Straley had 11 digs and two assists, while Campbell had eight digs.

Marist's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Blessed Trinity has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Mount Paran Christian on the 12th. As for Marist, they will take on Milton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
